Going with the Flow

Menstrual product costs can present a real barrier for students already navigating difficult financial choices; whether that means textbooks, groceries, or basic necessities. Going with the Flow was created to help.

Originating as a Library-led pilot project and supported by a Camosun Creativity and Innovation grant, the initiative began by offering free menstrual products at the Lansdowne Library. With growing support from Camosun Student Affairs, it has since expanded to six buildings across two campuses.

The branding was developed in collaboration with Camosun College Librarian Robbyn Lanning, building on her concept of a wave woven into the word “flow.” Distinctive colours, shapes and typography work together to create a cohesive and recognizable visual identity; one that guides students clearly through wayfinding, product signage and informational design across campus.
